1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. Roles and Content Ownership

VPD offers role-specific features (students, creators, startups, businesses, NGOs, recruiters, journalists, and others). Selecting a public-facing role does not grant administrative privileges, those are assigned separately. You retain ownership of content you submit (partner listings, job/scholarship posts, messages, files), and grant VPD a limited license to host, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate the platform.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent partner, job, or scholarship listings.
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users.
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes on others' intellectual property or legal rights.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or access accounts you don't own.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Pakistani or applicable international law.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules, consistent with our moderation process (reports are reviewed and acted on by our moderation team).

4. Partner Verification

Partners (NGOs, universities, businesses, communities) become publicly visible only after review and verification by our team. Verification does not constitute an endorsement, and VPD is not responsible for the accuracy of listings, job postings, or scholarship information submitted by third parties.

5. Job and Scholarship Listings

VPD is a platform connecting posters and applicants, we are not a party to any employment or scholarship agreement formed between users. We do not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or outcome of any listing or application.

6. Third-Party Links and Advertising

The platform may display advertising from third-party networks and contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party sites.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VPD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
